Vice President

Ernest Davis Jr is the Vice-President of the Board of Directors.  He is a retired Pastor from the AME Church.  Mr. Davis has extensive work experience with non-profit organizations in the following areas: organizational structure, volunteer staff development, strategic planning, by-laws, budget development, and grant writing.

Mr. Davis is the former Chairperson and CEO of Bethel Housing Community Development, Inc.; providing leadership in the operation of Bethel Housing Complex, a 98-unit project-based Section 8 apartment complex located in Albany, GA.  He was responsible for working with the third-party management company in the development of Operational Budgets, Policy Implementation and HUD Compliance. Prior to his departure from the Board, he successfully led and participated in the redevelopment of Bethel Housing Complex. 

He also served as a past volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Building Blitz as House Construction Crew Leader.

Currently, Mr. Davis is the President and CEO of Davis Business Consulting, LLC; specializing in Non-Profit Consulting and HUD Pre-REAC Inspections for Non-Profit Subsidized Housing Projects.

Mr. Davis is a native of Americus, GA.  He is a graduate from Georgia Southwestern State University, South Georgia Technical College, and participated in post-graduate studies at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology as well as Georgia State University’s School of Law.
