Christy Riggins

Christy Riggins comes to PHASE with a background in media and political communications as well as significant non-profit experience. Mrs. Riggins believes that all individuals, regardless of personal background or station in life, are created by God with a purpose, possessing inherent worth and deserving full dignity. Her desire is to see men, women, and children faced with challenges overcome their circumstances and thrive.

Since 2019, Mrs. Riggins has worked for the American Federation for Children, whose mission is to empower families, especially lower-income families, with the freedom to choose the best K-12 education for their children. As the Georgia State Field Director, she works with parents, schools, government leaders, and other non-profits across the state to advocate for the rights of students.

Prior to her work with the American Federation for Children, Mrs. Riggins served as Communications Director for the Georgia Center for Opportunity, a state-based think-tank devoted to policy solutions that help families overcome barriers.

Mrs. Riggins has many years of experience working in local and state political campaigns in Georgia and Alabama. Additionally, she has held positions in radio and digital media.

Mrs. Riggins graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She and her husband, Chris, have a son and reside in metro-Atlanta Georgia.
